BUILD A SNOWMAN CONTEST

Show off your creativity and help us decorate Christmas in Valley Center this year with your festive creations! All businesses, schools, groups and families are invited to enter this FREE contest. Your snowman will be displayed both days at the Christmas in Valley Center event!
Build your snowman using anything BUT snow! Entry should be at least 4 feet tall but not exceed 7 feet tall!

This contest is intended to add holiday cheer to Christmas in Valley Center and be family friendly. Snowmen that are distasteful or not family friendly will be disqualified.
*ENTRY DEADLINE*
Snowman to be delivered to Bates Nut Farm by:
• Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 9am - 5pm
• Thursday, December 11, 2025 from 1pm-5pm
Winners will be announced Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 10:00am at Bates Nut Farm where the snowmen are being displayed.

Where do I bring my snowman?
Bring your Snowman to Bates Nut Farm on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from
9am - 5pm or Thursday, December, 11, 2025 from 1pm - 5pm.

What are the Decorating Rules?
Your entry should be at least 4 feet tall but not exceed 7 feet tall. Please use materials that will be durable during rain, snow, sleet, ice or wind. All parts of the snowman must be secured to withstand outdoor elements. Snowman must be family friendly. Snowman should be labeled with name of entry. Snowman must be brought to the Bates Nut Farm no later than Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 5pm.

Who will Display my Snowman?
Volunteers of Christmas in Valley Center & Staff of Bates Nut Farm will display your snowman at the Christmas in Valley Center event on December 12th & 13th. Volunteers of Christmas in Valley Center or Staff of Bates Nut Farm will remove the snowman by the end of the event.

Winners will be announced at Bates Nut Farm during Christmas in Valley Center on Saturday, 12/13/25 at 10:00am.
