Description: Sip, sketch, and color with Prismacolor pencils while you relax with your friends and learn how to draw native wildflowers. Your afternoon of fun includes all art supplies, handouts, snacks, and of course, something to sip - wine or sparkling water.

This fun but educational class in how to draw and color with oil-based colored pencils and pen & ink. You'll learn drawing basic flowers and plants as well as composition and then you'll learn how to layer and blend colors using Prismacolor pencils.

Bio: Donna Walker, native to San Diego County, and a Valley Center resident, majored in Art and American Indian Studies (AIS) at Palomar College. Donna is a trail guide for the Elfin Forest where she leads monthly nature walks. She is a freelance illustrator of artifacts and her work is published in scientific journals, archaeological reports and presentations. Donna's love of nature, archaeology, and art (including digital) has enabled her to combine all in an expression of historical and contemporary drawings with special emphasis in archaeological and California's native plants.
