The Heartbeat Happening Classic Car Show returns to Bates Nut Farm. Organized by Heartbeat Classics Car Club, the show is open to all car makes & models from 1975 and older, as well as big rig tractors. Visitors will admire these lovingly restored cars, and reminisce about old times. In past years, this popular show has had over 200 entries filling the west side of the park. Held in conjunction with the Spring Festival Arts, Crafts & Vintage Market. Free admission. Proceeds donated to charity, The Veterans Association of North County.
The Heartbeat Classics were founded in February of 1997 by a group of enthusiasts who needed a club of their own in North San Diego County. We are members of the San Diego Car Club Council. The club currently supports a local charity, Veterans Association of North County, by sponsoring their Annual Car Show and by donating canned goods at the end of the year. Their members take pride in supporting our club charities by donating their time, energy and resources.
The Valley Center Rotary Club will be serving an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast the morning of the car show. Breakfast is $7.00 for adults, and $6.00 for children, and includes pancakes, eggs, bacon, coffee, and orange juice. Proceeds benefit local charities.
The Valley Center Optimists will be hosting a beer garden in the stage area for guests 21 and over. Enjoy a nice cold one after a day of fun and help support the Optimists!
